Big Brands: Put Your Logo on Names People Know

Our Big Brands range holds 263 products from names people already recognise, including Stanley, Parker, Moleskine, Case Logic, Ocean Bottle, Pierre Cardin, Americano, CamelBak, BIC, Herschel and Dopper. Minimum orders start at 5 units on some products, which makes the range practical for targeted gifting rather than only for large campaigns.

It exists for the occasions where the product itself has to be worth keeping. Client gifting, employee rewards, senior onboarding, prizes and higher-value campaigns, where handing over something generic would say the wrong thing about the person handing it over.

Why a recognised brand changes the gift

A branded product does two jobs at once. It carries your logo, and it says something about how much thought went into it. At the mass giveaway end of the market the first job is the whole point. At the gifting end, the second one carries more weight.

A Stanley bottle or a Parker pen arrives already carrying a reputation the recipient recognises, which means your logo sits on something they'd have been pleased to receive unbranded. That's a different transaction from a pen they'll lose by Friday, and it's most of the reason these products cost what they do.

There's a practical argument alongside the emotional one. A product somebody keeps carries your brand for years rather than days. A Moleskine notebook on a desk gets seen by everyone who walks past that desk, every day, for as long as the pages last.

What the numbers actually look like

Two examples from the range, both read from our own product pages:

ProductFromMOQDispatchMethod
Moleskine Classic Notebook (large, hardback, ruled) £15.88 108 daysScreen print
Parker IM Core Rollerball Pen£27.81510 daysPad print

Two things worth pulling out of that table.

The first is the minimum order. Five units on a Parker pen means you can order for a board, a shortlist of clients or a single leaving gift. Most of our standard promotional range starts higher than that, so the premium end is often the more flexible one for small quantities.

The second is the print area. A Parker cap gives you 40 x 6mm, which is a narrow strip. A Moleskine cover gives you 91 x 186mm. Those two numbers should shape your artwork before you get attached to a product, because a detailed logo that works beautifully on a notebook may be illegible on a pen cap. Request a free Visual Proof and you'll see the result at actual size, within 20 minutes, before you spend anything.

How your logo goes on

Branding methods vary by product, and each product page shows which ones are available for that item. Pad printing suits small, curved or precision surfaces such as a pen cap. Screen printing suits flatter surfaces with more room, such as a notebook cover.

The rule of thumb at this end of the range is that the branding should be quieter than it would be on a mass giveaway. The product is doing the work. A discreet logo on a Herschel bag reads as considered, and the same logo at three times the size reads as a conference freebie.

When to use the range

Client gifting: End of year, a contract renewal, or after a piece of work that went well.

Employee rewards and long service: A recognisable brand marks an occasion in a way a generic item can't.

Senior hires: A premium welcome kit signals that the role matters, and it arrives before the first day rather than after it.

Prizes: Golf days, raffles and internal competitions, where the prize needs to look like one.

Corporate Christmas: The busiest gifting window of the year, and the one where ordering late costs the most, so check the dispatch figure before December gets close.

You can browse the whole range on our Big Brands category page, where all 263 products sit together with their prices and minimum orders. For the rest of our buying advice, start at the Knowledge Centre.
